Unusual Wedding Gifts Decisions
If you ever get invited to a wedding you will probably have to buy the happy couple a gift. I have had to do this on numerous occasions but always ended up leaving it to the last minute. When you leave it to the last minute it adds to the pressure and in the end you don’t know what to buy.
There has been a great deal of interest over recent years in people buying unusual wedding gifts. When you think about it there are a number of reasons for this. Firstly, guests want to try and out do each other or appear to be a little different. Secondly, when couples already live together they already have a lot of things so buying unusual wedding gifts gets around the problem.
I was invited to a wedding recently, a medieval wedding theme. I didn’t go because I had other commitments. The couple there had an interesting way of guest buying gifts. Rather than buying individual gifts they could help contribute to the honeymoon but with an interesting slant.
They didn’t just want the guests to give a flat amount towards the honeymoon they wanted it to be something more personal. They went through all the things they wanted to do on holiday such as meals, rock climbing etc. They then worked out the costs of each one.
Then you as a guest could view all the activities that they wanted to do. Depending on your budget you can decide what you wanted to contribute. You could buy them breakfast or even a bikini. They would then take a picture of them at the breakfast so you could see them enjoying it.
It is obvious from the above that the wedding couple can assist the guests in buying unusual wedding gifts and the sole responsibility isn’t down to the guest.
As you can see there has been a rising trend in people buying unusual wedding gifts. For more ideas and help with finding creative wedding gifts please go to my blog.
